You will also be working with Pema Leigh McPhearson the primary Ayurvedic Body Therapist, assisting Ayurvedic Practitioner and Sanctuary Manager currently living and working with Blue Sage Sanctuary in Northern California. Her specialized areas of focus as an Ayurvedic Body Therapist are facilitating transformational healing through the process of Ayurvedic Pancha Karma and administration of classical Ayurvedic touch therapies.
Pema is a graduate of California College of Ayurveda as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and Pancha Karma Specialist. She is fluent in additional certification and healing modalities, including Yoga Therapy, Law of Attraction life coaching and Clinical Herbalism.
As a therapist and Sanctuary manager, she has worked with Blue Sage Ayurveda since 2013 and has grown into an all encompassing and expanded role that facilitates the overall Pancha Karma client experience at Blue Sage Sanctuary. Pema’s additional offerings include guiding clients through the preparatory phase of Pancha Karma, called “Purva Karma” and facilitating client arrivals, and preparing nourishing meals in support of the optimal Pancha Karma experience.
Pema is passionate about promoting the individual’s capacity to self-heal and understanding the role trauma and environment play in the mind/body connection. She promotes healing and balance through emphasizing food as medicine with an understanding of the power of plants to restore well-being. Pema also provides a safe and nourishing space in her way of sharing to explore root cause connections that can result in optimal health.
